The Archetype HAQ is a premium Swiss Made dressy tool watch with a bold linen dial, capable of autonomous accuracy down to +/-10 seconds per year.

Overview

All the style and elegance of a dress watch with the rugged durability of a tool watch, the Archetype is a truly versatile timepiece that pairs as well with a suit as it does with a t-shirt and jeans, all the way to boardshorts at the beach.

The Archetype is so named as it was designed to be the perfect example of a wristwatch - unique yet classic and perfectly proportioned, featuring three-hands and a date complication in go-anywhere-do-anything form.

At 38mm in diameter, the Archetype is a comfortable size for any wrist. Featuring a bold reimagining of the linen dial which is stunning from every angle, each element of the Archetype's design works together in visual harmony. Subtle depth and detail abounds, delighting on close inspection yet never overpowering the watch's primary function; to tell the time clearly and accurately at a glance.

Available in either Swiss Automatic (powered by the top grade Sellita SW200) or High Accuracy Quartz (powered by the precision ETA E64.111, accurate up to +/- 10 seconds per year), whichever you choose the Archetype has something special at its heart.

The Archetype is made in three colourways (white, blue or charcoal) and comes on either a fine leather strap or classic steel bracelet (both with quick-change springbars for tool free strap changes). There are no useless boxes here, your Archetype will be presented to you in a custom leather watch wallet.

The Archetype features

Linen Dial

The Archetype boldly reimagines the linen dial. The pattern was drawn line by line, and has been set deeply into the dial, creating striking visual depth which can only truly be experienced on the wrist.

Refined Finishes

The main surfaces of the steel case are brushed for durability day to day, but are set off by a mirror-polished chamfer which runs the edge of the case, subtlely catching light as you move your wrist.

Quality in Detail

It's the little things that separate great from good. Like how the flawlessly mirror polished dauphine minute hand extends precisely to the end of the minute track for accurate time reading and visual harmony.

Box Sapphire Crystal

The Archetype's 4.3mm box sapphire crystal echoes the unmistakable high bubble of mid-century acrylic, only with the super-scratch resistant properties of sapphire made possible by modern production techniques.

Steel Bracelet

The optional 5 D-link solid stainless steel bracelet with brushed outer links and polished centre links is fully articulating, conforming exactly to the contour of your wrist.

Featuring solid end links with quick-release springbars for tool-free strap changes and a signed butterfly clasp for maximum comfort, no detail has been forgotten.

Leather Strap

A premium soft and supple crocodile patterned calf leather dress strap with thin padding and quick release spring bars for easy and tool-free strap changes comes as standard. The inner calf leather is stamped and fastened with a signed steel tang and buckle.
